i guess we're adults. the question is, when did that happen, and how do we make it stop?

i have five rules. memorize them.
rule number one, don't bother sucking up. i already hate you, that's not gonna change.

you guys are used to it, that's all. you already have it, you have that thing everybody wants. you can take it for granted, but let me tell you, if you didn't, if you couldn't be with the person that you love, i guarantee that hearing him promise you love you and honor you and cherish you no matter what, it would be pretty much all you could think about.

too often the thing you want most is the one thing you can't have.
desire leaves us heartbroken, it wears us out.
desire can wreck your life. but as harsh as wanting something can be the people who suffer the most are those who don't know what they want.

the dream is this, that we will finally be happy when we reach our goals. find the guy, finish our studies, that's the dream. when we get there and if we're human we immediately start dreaming of something else. because if this is the dream, then we'd like to wake up, now please.

and if we're lucky we realise in the face of everything, in the face of life, the true dream is being able to dream at all.
