KDE 4.0.3
Was working better. But still I can only wonder why few decissions has been made. :P
And hopefully it will get better and better adn ugh change the few icons PLEASE...
Tuesday 01.04.2008 KDE LiveCD 4.0.2
I really can't see why people are so excited about...
All I can find is minor eyecandy updates and partially raped ugly icons.
Few decissions I just can't undestand... ksysguard is now = systemguard and
kcontrol is systemsettings... why to bother change the names and confuse old user?
and Oh come on atleast but some music player to the liveCD please?
Then.... the much praised plasmoid yeah.. maybe htey could just "could" be usefull if they didn't halted the graphical interface, lost the wallpaper andbe pain in the ass even to try them out...
But them in when they are a "little" bit more ready. Oh and last time the Kopete was working, ok no irc protocol support but atleast it was working now it doesn't do even that anymore.
I just am so disappointed and going to stick with kde3 like a drowning to the rope...

After testing KDE4 on my machine and having weird problems after it. I decided to give it another round.
And got to the conclusion that it's not ready yet :P
Here's the list I experienced after short usage.
-No way to disable the notification sounds yet, sound settings were handicapped
-KMenu is in horrible SuSE style... and you can't change it
-After I lost my taskbar I couln't get it back from the configure panel menu
-1. "ok now let's try IM-software hmm.. no konversation for IRC ok then >>> Kopete... WHAAT no IRC support...?¿"
-2. No IRC support in kopete so>>>
ircnet.org >>> damn the keylayout is in english
-3. Language and Region settings to Finnish no effect. "damn"
-When I opened settings windows it didn't change the focus so I tought it didn't start
*frustation*
-System closes the settings window after you click OK.. how nice now I have to open the raped and uncool KMenu
ok... Maybe I'll wait for more ready version.. but why the heck did they call it Release Candidate.... that's a mystery
