Tulossa oleva mopokorttiuudistus voi nostaa kortin hinnan jopa 400-500 euroon. Nykyisin mopokortin hankinnasta selviää noin 90 eurolla. Opetusluvalla suoritettuna mopokortti maksaisi jatkossa 150-200 euroa.

Kortti kallistuu, koska ennen mopon uutta käsittelykoetta edellytetään vähintään neljä 25 minuutin pituista ajokertaa. Teoriaopetusta kokelas saisi 4-6 kertaa 45 minuuttia kerrallaan.
