LOHJAN PELASTUSLAITOS


Lohjan pelastuslaitos joutui keskiviikkona ottamaan asuinhuoneistosta kiinni erittäin aggressiivisesti käyttäytyneen anakonda-kuristajakäärmeen.

Käärmeen omistava nainen joutui hälyttämään apua, kun matelija alkoi hyökkäillä terraariostaan kaikkia lähestyviä kohti.


Nummentaustan kaupunginosassa sijatsevassa huoneistossa käynyt eläinlääkäri ei ollut uskaltanut lähestyä anakondaa, ja sen rauhoittamisella alkoi olla kiire, koska huoneisto oli myyty ja sen tyhjentämiseen oli vain vuorokausi aikaa.

Anakondat voivat olla rauhassa syömättä jopa kahdeksan kuukautta, mutta nyt neljän kuukauden paastolla ollut ja muuttotoimista hermostunut 3,5 metriä pitkä käärme alkoi olla vaarallisen uhkaava.


Pelastusmiehet päättivät käyttää käärmeen tainnuttamiseen hiilidioksidisammutinta. He tukivat terrarion puulevyillä, ettei eläin pääsisi karkaamaan mikäli terraarion lasi rikkoutuisi paineesta.

Miehet suihkuttivat sammuttimen tyhjäksi, ja kun käärme alkoi hitaasti taintua, sen kaulaan saatiin pujotettua naru. Pikaisen valokuvaussession jälkeen eläin laitettiin pussilakanaan ja toimitettiin eläinlääkärille, joka antoi aggressiiviselle anakondalle viimeisen piikin.
