Amerikkalaisen rockyhtyeen Velvet Revolverin nokkamies Scott Weiland ilmoitti keikallaan Skotlannin Glasgow`ssa, että parhaillaan käynnissä oleva Euroopan-kiertue on bändin viimeinen. Kerrang.comin mukaan Weiland kertoi yleisölle, että keikka sisältää "jotain spesiaalia", koska meneillään on vihoviimeinen kiertue.

Mene ja tiedä, laskiko Weiland suustaan "sammakon", mutta ainakin MTV:n uutisten mukaan Weiland hermostui keikalla niin, että hän paiskasi mikrofoninsa lattiaa ja marssi ulos lavalta. Tiettävästi Weilandin mielenilmauksen syynä oli solistin tyytymättömyys laulusoundeihin.

Velvet Revolverin hajoamishuhuja on kiihdyttänyt tieto siitä, että Weilandin vanha bändi Stone Temple Pilots on lähdössä pian kiertueelle.
