My first symbol is inspirited by Corinthians 1, 13:13 – “In this life we have three great lasting qualities - faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is love”. It represents my religion and other important values. The cross stands for faith in Jesus and that is the base for the meaning of my life, which alone is not a reason good enough for living but when I have hope, shown as the anchor, life suddenly does make sense. The heart is all the above and everything else I love. Love is the most important element of purposeful life and that is why I drew it bigger than the other two.
Two-thirds of my heart lies in Helsinki, my hometown, and that is what the next figure is about. A crown on top of a boat designates the coat of arms of Helsinki Finland.
In my opinion horse is the mightiest animal of all and because I love all fauna on earth I had to dedicate a part of my coat of arms to this brilliant matter. The soul of a big animal like that is a combination of vitality and strength but from time to time they show weakness, just like people. I have been riding and taking care of horses since I was seven years old and I know that my “horseful” life is going to last until the day I die.
Although my life can get really deep and spiritual, essentially I just want to have fun and I think the forth picture combines the most typical symbols of partying. I am a sworn partygirl and IÂ’m not going to change although from time to time I get a feeling that I have crossed the line. ItÂ’s in my blood and IÂ’m proud of it.
I chose these four symbols because they are the best representatives for my life.
