Aloitin eilen lukemaan Moonwalk kirjaa oikein kirjaversiona. Kirja tupsahti postiluukusta muutama päivä sitten. Joskus muutama vuosi sitten olen lukenut kirjaa netistä printattuna versiona. Mutta nyt sain lukea sitä oikeana kirjana, joka tekee lukuelämylsestä vieläkin paremman. Kirjassa on lisäksi kuvia, jotka antavat kirjaan lisäu lottuvuutta.
Aluksi oli outoa lukea kirjaa oli omituista lukea koska teksti on Michaelin omaa kerrontaa elämästään. Michael on nyt poissa ja siksi tuntuikin niin käsittämättömältä lukea hänen kirjoittamiaansa tekstiä, joissa hän puhui muistoistaan, kokemuksistaan, ajatuksitaan ja haaveistaan.
Moni ihminen joka kirjaan tarttuu varmasti löytää tämän kirjan kautta jotain Michaelista uutta Michaelin persoonasta. Sellasita mikä on aivan väärä kuva verrattuna siihen kuvaan, jonka lehdistö on hänestä antanut.
On upeaa, että Michael kirjoitti tämän 300 sivuisen kirjan elinaikanaan ja mahdollisuuden meille säilyttää osa hänen persoonastaan tämän kirjan muodossa.
Alkaessani kirjaa lukemaan olisin kelposti voinut lukea kirjan loppuun asti. Kun sen aloittaa lukemaan on vaikea lopettaa kesken. Yön pikkutunneilla olikin minun pakotettava itseni irti kirjasta. Täytyy myös hidastaa lukemistahtiani, sillä ensimmäiset 100 sivua on jo luettu, enkä haluaisi kirjan koskaan loppuvan. Täytyypä siis rajoittaa lukemiseni muutamaan sivuun per päivä, vaikka karu totuus onkin, että jonain päivänä olen lukenut koko kirjan :(
Kirja on jollain tavalla aivan ihanaa luettavaa. Itse ainakin lukiessani sain kokea tunneskaalan naurusta itkuun. Teksti on myös mielestäni erittäin simppeliä englantia, joten kielen kanssa ei ongelmia tule.
Mutta suosittelen todella lukemaan kirjan, mikäli joku ei vielä ole lukenut :)

Eilen oli vihdoin se kauan odotettu päivä, kun this is it tuli elokuvateatteriin. Kävin katsomassa elokuvan 2 x. Ihana elokuva joka herätti tunteita. Kotimatkalla yksin bussissa vieläkin kyyneleen nousivat silmiin, kun ajattelin elokuvaa.
Oli koskettavaa nähdä Michael niin täynnä energiaa, hymyilevän ja sitä intoa millä hän odotti tulevia konsertteja. Elokuva toi myös esille hänen ystävällisen ja hyvätahtoisen persoonan, joka hän oli.
Milessä vaan pyörii kysymys miksi? Tuntuu väärältä, että ihminen joka kosketti niin monen ihmisen elämää ja halusi kaikille vain hyvää otettiin meiltä pois. Vielä epäoikeudenmukaisempaa on se että ihminen joka halusi vain hyvää sai itse kärsiä niin paljon pahaa. Kai se tosiasia on vain niin että jotkut vain ovat liian hyviä tähän maailmaan.
Michael oli lahja meille ja hänen lahjansa oli toimia maailmassa Jumalan oikeana kätenä. Toivottavasti viimeistään nyt ihmiset heräävät ymmärtämään hänen merkityksensä ja oppisivat arvostamaan sitä. Jos maailmassa olisi enemmän hänen kaltaisijaan olisi tämä maailma parempi paikka meille kaikille.
Monet sanovat miten Michael on vaikuttanut heihin musiikillisesti ja tanssitaitojensa kautta. Itse rakastan Michaelin musiikkia ja ihailen hänen taitoaatanssitaitojaan. Hän tulee aina olemaan musiikin ja tanssin nero. Itse olen saanut vaikutteita hänen persoonastaan, ajatuksistaan ja elämäanarvoistaan. Siitä hyvästä jonka hän halusi jakaa kaikkien kanssa.
Ilman Michaelia moni asia elämässäni olisi jäänyt tapahtumatta, monta ihmistä tapaamatta, monta matkaa matkustamatta ja monta kokemusta kokematta. Michaelin musiikki oli myös antamassa voimaa, kun elämä oli vaikeaa ja ympärillä oli vain synkkyyttä. Michael, en voi koskaan kiittää sinua tarpeeksi siitä kaikesta, mitä olet antanut elämääni. En koskaan tule unohtamaan sinua..........
