Yksi konemusiikin menestyneimpiä artisteja, saksalainen ATB, saapuu ensimmäiselle keikalleen Suomeen huhtikuussa. Läpimurtohittinsä ”9pm (Till I Come)” yli 10 vuotta sitten julkaissut tähti esiintyy vappuaattona perjantaina 30. huhtikuuta Helsingin The Circuksessa.
Pitkän linjan säveltäjä, tuottaja, remiksaaja ja dj Andre Tanneberger, eli ATB, on konemusiikin menestyneimpiä nimiä The Prodigyn ja Tieston kaltaisten järkäleitten rinnalla. Hän on saanut 13 platinalevyä, 14 kultalevyä ja tehnyt yli 150 julkaisua. Suomeen hän saapuu osana tänä vuonna julkaistun miksaus-albuminsa maailmankiertuetta.
Parin viime vuoden aikana ATB on entisestään nostanut profiiliaan elektronisen musiikin kentällä, laajentaen tuotantoaan keikka-areenoilta jopa eturivin rockfestareille. Nykyään noin 100 keikan vuosivauhtia studiotyönsä ohella ympäri maailmaa suhaava ATB on esiintynyt tunnetuimpien konemusiikkifestareiden päälavoilla, mm. Ultra Music Festival, Global Gathering, Creamfields, Love Parade, Nature One ja Mayday. Viime vuonna hän esiintyi “Rock In Rio” -festivaaleilla yhdessä Bryan Adamsin kanssa 250 000 ihmisen edessä.
Vappuaattona The Circuksessa ATB:n rinnalla esiintyy toistakymmentä kotimaan dj-pioneeria ja tuoretta kasvoa technon, progen, housen ja urbaanin musiikin parista kahdella tanssilattialla ja loungessa. Kyseessä on näin ollen yksi vuoden suurimmista elektronisen musiikin tapahtumista Suomessa.
