Torchwoodin 2. tuotantokausi lähtee tänään klo 00.10 pyörimään TV2:della. Vaikka on 1. kausi boxina ja kaikki kolme kautta koneella, niin jotenkin niitä ei tule niin usein katsottua. Kakkoskautta en katso, kun olen sen jo kerran tietokoneenruudulta tihrustanut, niin toisen pyörityksen haluan tapahtuvan täydellä laadulla telkkarinruudulta. Olen vain olemattoman hidas ostamaan näitä bokseja (kuten pystyy toteamaan mun Angel-kausista, joista 4. ja 5. on ollut ostoslistalla viimeiset kaksi vuotta).

Mutta siis, nyt kaikki TV:n äärelle kymmentä yli puolenyön, tai vaihtoehtoisesti digiboksit ajastukselle tallentamaan. Vaikkei olisi ennen sarjaa seurannutkaan, niin tähän jää koukkuun; ruudulla pyörii niin paljon hormoneja, että näköä haittaa, ja sitten on Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) ja Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd), jotka on aaah, niin ihastuttava pariskunta. Eli vaikkei scifi olisi ykkös mieltymyksenä omalla listalla, niin
C'MON, THERE'S GOOD LOOKING BISEXUAL MEN ON SCREEN.
(Vaikkakin biseksuaali on väärä termi Harknesille, koska se nai mitä vain mikä on olemassa, oli kyseessä sitten ihminen tai ulkoavaruuden asukas).


Jack: "Captain Jack Harkness. How long have you been there? Silent type? That’s okay. I used to date a guy with no mouth. Surprisingly creative."


Ja jollei tämä vielä tarraa mielenkiintoa, niin heti ensimmäinen jakso tältä kaudelta sisältää vierailevan hahmon, Captain John Hartin, jota näyttelee James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer ja Angel).


Jack: "We go back."
John: "Excuse me, we more than go back. We were partners."
Ianto: "In what way?"
John: "In every way. And then some."
Jack: "It was two weeks."
John: "Except the two weeks was trapped in a time loop so we were together for five years. It was like having a wife."
Jack: "You were the wife."
John: "YOU were the wife."
Jack: "No, you were the wife."
John: "Oh, but I was a good wife!"
Toshiko: "I bet you were. What? Don't pretend you haven't noticed he's cute."
John: "They're just shy."


Yeah. It's going to be awesome.

Clark: "This may sound wierd, but I think she was attacked by vampire"

Professor: "Clark, there's no such thing like vampires"

Ja kun professoria näyttelee James Marsters, niin tuo ei kuullosta kauhean vakuuttavalta... :D
