In the last 3 days, I've had about 5 hours sleep. By the time I arrived at the Columbia Halle yesterday evening; I'd been awake for almost 40 hours. Amazing, even by my own standards.
But I'm paying for it today. My co-ordination and language skills are suffering and I can' really do much apart from lay on my bed singing to myself XD
But all in all, the trip to Berlin was really good. We went to the zoo, walked around, visited the Jewish Monument, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Berliner Mauer :) It was really an interesting day, and I met some really lovely people- an old couple from Israel, and a young couple from Spain (at least I think so).
I have to say that the evening could have been better. My tickets said the doors opened at 8, and the gig began at 9. So bearing this in mind, we got to Halle about 8:25, just as "suru kasvoilla" was finishing. We saw 3 songs of Flinch, and I was pretty annoyed, because I really wanted to see the gig :(
But anyway, what I did see was good. And the winyls weren't too bad. Not my cup of tea, but there was one or two songs that i loved :D And Negative impressed me. I don't like their new material, and so it was a joy to hear tracks from Sweet and Deceitful :-) Really good. They played well.
I didn't sleep much in the end, after the gig. I was hungry, tired, and frustrated. And I was laying listening to the Finns upstairs. They were having a really good time. I think they were the ones I'd seen at Aldi yesterday.
I'll go to bed soon. :)
