"The best musician of all time
I think it's not so hard to guess which is the best musician in my opinion. Guns N' Roses has influenced me almost for a three years now. The band members have changed and music trends have moved on. Still I believe in GN'R, I can never get enough of their music.
It all started in autumn 2007 when I was on seventh grade at school. One day I heard a guitar intro of a song what I had never heard before. I asked from my friend what was the name of the song, but she didn't knew it. She answered me that she thinks it's a song from Guns N' Roses. The song got stuck in my head for all day and after school I had to search "Guns N' Roses" on YouTube. I browsed songs untill I found it. Sweet Child O' Mine was the first song I fell in love, and it's my favourite song also nowadays.
Guns N' Roses was founded in 1985. The band included five members; Axl Rose on vocals, Saul Hudson a.k.a. Slash on lead guitar, Izzy Stradlin on rhythm guitar, Duff McKagan on bass and Steven Adler on drums. Axl Rose has influenced my appearance the most of the band members. Anyway I think they all are so cool and I admire their styles.
Guns N' Roses is known as "The most dangerous band in the world". Their lifestyle in 1980's was a bad example for fans. Izzy was a drug dealer, Slash and Steven were drug addicts, Duff was a drunk and Axl was a manic-depressive. Today they all have improved their lifestyles.
Guns N' Roses's debut-album Appetite For Destruction is my favourite album, and I'm not the only one who agrees with me. "Appetite" is sold over 30 million albums worldwide. The record includes 12 fabulous songs. There are big hits such as Paradise City, Welcome To The Jungle and Sweet Child O' Mine. This album has the best songs in my opinion, altough I like all GN'R songs.
I have all their albums, some t-shirts, posters, magazine interviews, books, live DVD's and many other merchandises. The most important from these is my treasure, a gig ticket to Helsinki Live festival where Guns N' Roses appears in June 5th 2010.
