Näin kasvosi sivusta päin, katselit kimaltavalle merelle.
Kätesi olivat hautautuneet viilenevään hiekkaan,
auringon laskiessa minuutti minuutilta syvemmälle horisonttiin.
Aallot liplattivat edestakaisin kaikessa rauhassa,
koskettaen paljaita varpaitasi.
