Isn't it normal
that if you're suddenly given heaven
you wanna make sure it won't disappear
and that it isn't just a big hoax?
Isn't it just reasonable to doubt everything
that sounds too good to be true
'cause it just might be?

I've putten much pressure on my heaven,
been as suspicious, difficult and belligerent as I can be
for very long
So finally I'm convinced
that this will stay
(with only a glimpse of doubt in my mind)
I can let my guard down in peace
and simply enjoy

I must apologize for beeing as cynical as I've been
but from now on
I'll dedicate my beeing here
for making him happy
and making myself happy
'cause when you think of it
it doesn't sound like
a bad purpose for living
doesn't it
