''Minä uskon Stephenie Meyeriin,
äitiin, kaikkivaltiaaseen,
Twilight :in ja mahtavan kirjasarjan Luojaan,

ja Edward Culleniin,
Stephenien luomaan poikaan,
meidän Herraamme,
joka luki kaikkien ajatuksia,
syntyi Carlisle Cullenista,
kärsi espanjantaudin aikaan,
purtiin, myrkytettiin ja tapettiin,
astui alas tuonelaan,
nousi kolmantena päivänä ylös kivuista,
astui iänkaikkiseen elämään,
asuu Stephenie Meyerin, äidin, kaikkivaltiaan,
suositussa kirjassa,
ja on sieltä tuleva rakastamaan
eläviä ja kuolleita

ja kauniisiin vampyyreihin,
sateiseen kaupunkiin Forksiin,
Bellan vereen,
kipujen anteeksiantamiseen,
vampyyriksi muuttumiseen,
ja iankaikkiseen elämään.

Newly Buff Taylor Lautner Speaks to E!Sunnuntai 11.01.2009 07:02

Here’s a brand new interview with Taylor Lautner where he talks, post-casting-controversy, about what he’s done to prepare for the movie. He’s excited about working with Chris Weitz, who is “extremely talented”, and is eating heavily to buff up–but no Big Macs, only protein shakes.200901101715.jpg

" Stud-puppy werewolf Taylor Lautner wonÂ’t be the only one howling when he comes back as the leader of the pack in the Twilight sequel, New Moon. Fanggirls everywhere will probably be squealing with supernatural glee, too, especially if they like their young dudes righteously ripped. Because 16-year-old Taylor tells E! that he is totally stoked, working out like mad and eating as much as possible trying to bulk up for the muscular role. Arrroooooh!!!!

Taylor Lautner Shows of New Moon BodSunnuntai 11.01.2009 07:00

Taylor Lautner showed off his progress so far pumping up for New Moon, and spoke to reporters about his progress-

" Some actors will go to extremes to get a part, but to reprise his role of Jacob Black in “New Moon,” the sequel to “Twilight,” Taylor Lautner told Access Hollywood he has had to “basically kill myself.”

“I get into the gym every single day, seven days a week, two hours a day, eat as much as I possibly can,” he told Access at our 3rd Annual ‘Stuff You Must Lounge’ at the Sofitel LA hotel on Saturday. “[I’m] going crazy.”

The buff actor said he’s put on 26 pounds since starting his training regimen the day after he finished filming “Twilight” — and he’s not done yet.

“It’s motivation for my passion [for] the character,” he said. “I knew it was a necessity for the character. I’m stoked to be a part of this.”

You guys made abundantly clear in the comments of our recent post about the possibility of sugar-coated Disney stars Vanessa Hudgens or Brenda Song starring in New Moon as Leah that they’re not right for the part of Leah. Another voice joins the fray, over at MTV:

I thought to myself, “Disney Channel Stars? Miley Cyrus? Nope. Ashley Tisdale? I hope not. Selena Gomez? Possible. Vanessa Hudgens? No way. She can’t go from “High School Musical” to “Twilight?” She can’t be that lucky.”

Apparently, she might be.

The girl who’s made boys go gaga in all three High School Musicals (HSM) (and in those naughty pictures too) is rumored to be one of the top two contenders. Who’s the other hopeful? The super-cute and super-funny Brenda Song! You might know her as the spoiled and not so very smart London Tipton alongside Ashley Tisdale in Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.”

If you ask me, neither of these gals are good picks. As for Brenda, I love her. She’s cute, funny, and makes the Asian in me sing with glee and glow with pride at how successful she’s been as a Disney Channel star; but, she’s no Leah.

Why would Vanessa – one of the stars of HSM – opt for a minor character? Even though the film is destined to be another mega hit, does she really need this role that badly? Plus, I can’t picture Gabriella Montez running around the woods growling at people.

The web is abuzz that the coveted role of Leah Clearwater, the female werewolf in New Moon, may be going to either Vanessa Hudgens or Brenda Song. Both are 20 year old Disney alumni with singing/acting careers. Here are the positives for each actress as we see them:

Vanessa Hudgens:

* Native American Heritage
* As a singer, could contribute to New Moon soundtrack
* Given High School Musical role, there could be Werewolf Dancing !! (kidding…)

Brenda Song:

* Black Belt Taekwondo ability, does some of her own stunts
* Strong reviews for Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, in which she was the star
* Did we mention frakkin Taekwondo!?

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:

I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.

The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

very best

Chris Weitz

I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's going to bring to Jacob's character this year.
