He is amazing because of the creativity, and despite the fact that dir en grey is a band with a very different, versatile and unique sound, he is still able to follow it perfectly, and not simply follow it but create such unique and unimaginable sounds.
Shinya is a wonderfully talented drummer, and I always get this distinct feeling that he is much more emotionally complex than he lets on [not that he lets on much; the guy doesn't open his mouth!] and sometimes his drums are so powerfully emotional it drives me to tears; he should really be more confident of his skill...
Although I think its adorable that he's so shy and modest when he could show off like crazy about EXACTLY how good he is at his job...
