Intialainen tarina kertoo, että aikojen alussa ihmiset saivat jumalalta lahjaksi kalliin aarteen ja sen avulla he elivät täydellisen tyytyväisinä, onnellisina ja kosketuksissa luonnon ja luojansa kanssa. Mutta aikojen myötä he muuttuivat ja heistä tuli röyhkeitä ja piittaamattomia. Luoja päätti rankaista ihmisiä ottamalla heiltä pois tuon aarteen, joka piti heidät jumalaisessa tasapainossa. Hän mietti pitkään, mihin piilottaisi sen, ettei ihminen sitä löytäisi kuin niin syvän etsinnän jälkeen, että vihdoin osaisi sitä arvostaa.

Laittaisiko hän sen syvälle maankuoren kätköihin?

Upottaisi valtameren pohjaan?

Kätkisi kuun kraatteriin?

Lopulta hän keksi ratkaisun! Hän piilotti palasen aarretta jokaisen ihmisen sisälle. Sen tehtyään hän ryhtyi tyytyväisenä seuraamaan luomistyönsä kehitystä. Aikojen kuluessa ihminen porautui maan uumeniin, tutki merten pohjat ja matkasi kuun pinnalle. Mutta harva keksi tutkia omaa sisintään, joten aarre on monilta yhä tänäkin päivänä löytymättä...
