joka tarkoittaa jonkin asian tai ilmiön
tarkastelua erikseen, vain omana itsenään.
Ilmausta ei käytetä yleisesti suomen kielen yhteydessä
sen kuulostaessa miltei
"takamusta kuvaavalta alatyyliseltä ilmaisulta."
Sen sijaan esimerkiksi englannin kielen yhteydessä se on
yleisempi. Suomessa yleisempi on saksankielinen ilmaus An sich.
