If someone asks for a reason

We close up
Void befalls on our lips
We are ashamed
Like if the reason would be laughable
We cry
For it is too hard to admit

Encounter a problem
It stays unsolved
For this very reason
It is not the reason that is laughable
Problem is laughable
The pain that it causes

It is a fatal worm
That worm carves and feeds your insides
Admittance would set everyone free
Reason would explain it all

But our lips
Remain
Sealed
For we are afraid
Of how we look in the eyes of others
Instead of curing our wounds
