Earth and Mars are full of these (I think).
Turn screen back, take a close look, & see life.
(Such "collar-nest" can be formed by a leaf-looking early unit transforming its tissue or bending itself?, or among fungal cell-groups so that several take part to circle-making, or by 2, curving as pliers... These sights there have been.) But... what was going on inside living mountains? :) Where they throughly of the pipe structure, or were there hollow parts and something... there should have been fluid-stream, at least ... Big roots may be as small roots.I change my words about that what NE-Australia's visible surface is. It is life, very big life. A disc grows 2 half-squares, that reproduce together by making a round disc... Possibly "different" generation swim out of the holes? There are also the pipes... their leaves or broad tube-ends are under thick blond sand layer. <-- Martian sight. Australia looks that, from that little aeroplane that flew quite high. Turn your screen back, and take a close look. It was living, all of it. The orange reef... it's like some boat, having orange fungi-leaves as lids. Parts getting bigger... reminds me of some "ladders" that ate rootbuttons of leaves... LONG time ago here. I don't know what those reefs... eeh... their walls may be fungi-tubes... they have fungi-lids... it is like a huge, relatively narrow but long and tall house... outborders... It is something fungamental. :)
